Zeph

#PVFF19

Zeph is full time travelling busker and one man band.

A sublime, multi-talented songwriter and musician returning to PVFF after participating in last years Purbeck Rising, fully throwing himself into that and the open mic, even taking a stint or two at compering over the weekend.

Zeph’s material comprises of catchy, dance-y tales of shenanigans and adventures over the years. There’s songs for strangers, strippers, an ode to Ruth Ellis, a pirate song and all manner of other stories. Zeph is also partial to playing the blues, be it ragtime, deep down and dirty slide guitar or the shuffle sound of ’50s Chicago. Not limited to the blues Zeph also plays country, rock & roll, glam rock, and folk covers and just about everything in-between.

Now a solo performer – but not always – he is known to gig with friends all over the country and has formed many a band at festivals, often joining him on stage. Zeph loves festivals and all the opportunities for playing, he can usually be found jamming well into the night around a campfire.

Zeph does not participate in most social media preferring the more old school approach of word of mouth and going to gigs. However he can sometimes be found on YouTube and SoundCloud.
