Jock Tyldesley and Jimmy Cole have been playing old-time Appalachian fiddle and banjo together for nearly 30 years. They’re joined by wonderful multi-instrumentalist Charlotte Carrivick on rhythm guitar, playing driving dance tunes and breakdowns from Kentucky, Georgia and West Virginia – music to get you cutting up some great flatfoot and clogging moves and hollerin’ for more. Gill Emerson will be joining them on stage to call the dances at Purbeck Valley Folk Festival’s first ever Long Barn Hoedown.

There will be square dances and more so if you like a good ceilidh you will love this!
