The Julie Band returns 28 years later, with the revival of British Racing Green, the album that first put them on the map when song writing duo Julie Staines and Steve Ennever were signed to Columbia Records in 1997.

The opening track Bad Day was the main song in the opening titles of The Shrink Is In starring Courteney Cox and David Arquette and other songs from the album were also featured in Cruel Intentions 2, The In Crowd and various American TV shows.

The album blends infectious melodic riffs with a punchy, driven rhythm section. Julie’s sharp-witted lyrics, laced with both cynicism and humour, cut through with a raw energy that defines the band’s signature sound of melodic pop songs played with raw energy and edge.
