Tashkezar are a London/Bristol-based Egyptian Folk-Funk group combining Balkan and Mediterranean folk influences with Egyptian 80s/90s Pop and Turkish psych funk. Fuzzy Guitar lines, Violin, Funk Bass and Horn stabs collide with Alexandrian-born Mariam Ali’s soaring vocals.
