Original songs of love, apocalypse, and wine-soaked compromise, drawing on American and British folk traditions. Featuring Sam Twigg on vocals and Puerto Rican cuatro, Josh Robson-Hemmings on guitar, Hannah Gray on flute, Colin Fletcher on bass, and Jane Griffiths on fiddle and viola. Twigg began as a singer-songwriter in Chicago bars and coffee shops over twenty years ago, later touring the US, the Philippines, and New Zealand. Now settled in Oxford, she always loves playing with the Sometimes Band. Expect foot-stomping anthems, tender laments, and a dash of comedy.
