Evolution of Fishermen are already forming a name as a prominent up-and-coming band in the contemporary-folk scene. Brought together by a mutual love of story-telling, unique harmony and original folk songs.
They’ve appeared at festivals such as Deershed, Wilderness, Medicine Festival and Gate to Southwell, alongside shows at O2 Academy Islington, Green Note, Old Blue Last, Paper Dress Vintage and The Actors’ Church.
Their debut EP Days Like These (2024) received features on BBC Introducing and was launched with a sold‑out performance at St Bartholomew the Great in London.
The band recently branched out to a new project titled ‘The Circle’: a sold-out artist-collaboration series featuring the likes Alice Boyd, Maimuna Memon, Sophie Wright and Harry Collier hosted by Evolution of Fishermen as a house-band.
Their new EP Echo Lands will be out this year.
