Daniel Duke

Daniel Duke writes hand-clapping, foot-stomping, roof-raising, soul-baring folk music. He appeared in the blind audition stages of The Voice UK 2015 where his original take on The Proclaimers ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 miles)’ won him three chair turns and a place on Team Tom.

Duke’s singing and song-writing have been compared to the likes of Jeff Buckley, Brett Dennen, Conor Oberst and Mumford & Sons. Daniel honed his skills busking on the streets of Belfast, and it shows in the sheer power of his voice. Often seen fronting the UK folk band Daniel and the Lion, Daniel began branching out into a solo career in 2014.

The combination of roaring folk tunes, the odd Disney cover and the energy of his performance has made Daniel Duke a must see act.
