Dutch-based band Amariszi is inspired by Balkan music, but makes it her own. The show is a festival of styles on it’s own, and brought a cheerful party to festivals like Sziget (Budapest), United Islands (Prague), Festival Mundial (Tilburg) and Club Babylon (Istanbul). The members played in before in bands like Caro Emerald and Björk.

The new album Nine Balkan Nights is #1 in the December charts of the British World Music Network Audio Chart and #13 in the World Music Charts Europe!

The Dutch based band Amariszi have proudly presented its second album: Nine Balkan Nights. The recordings were made during their tour in Eastern Europe. ‘We want the audiences to join us on our tour and share the feeling of our nights in the Balkans’, according to bandleader Kay Krijnen.
