A virtuoso guitarist, in 2011, Will was awarded a Fellowship diploma from the College – a rarity for a 21-year-old. Will has received tuition from some world-class classical and acoustic guitarists including Gerald Garcia, Stuart Ryan and Thomas Leeb. Performing live is something Will has done regularly for years, and his gigs have seen him share stages and bills with a huge variety of fantastic musicians from folk legend Martin Simpson to festival-headliners Mumford & Sons.
Composing is a big part of Will’s musical life, and he has released four albums of original material, of which the latest three are available to purchase at gigs or via the online shop. He has been commissioned to write music for theatre, dance, moving image, as well as corporate films. Will’s playing has won him numerous awards, most recently being Guitarist Magazine’s coveted UK Acoustic Guitarist of the Year 2011, held at London’s Southbank Centre
