Lots of people have been in touch about fire safety at the festival and asking whether we’ll be banning camping stoves. Lots of others have contacted us to check that we won’t – because feeding a family entirely from festival food stalls simply isn’t affordable for everyone.
As a born people-pleaser, I’d love to keep everyone happy – but most importantly, we need to keep everyone safe!
Buckets – please bring a bucket, fill it with water, leave it by your tent.
Camping stoves – on a raised surface, watch at all times
Small square camping stoves – disconnect the gas cylinder when not in use
Tents – no cooking in tents
