Eleanor Dunsdon & Gregor Black are a multi-award-winning Glasgow-based harp and percussion duo blending traditional music with jazz, classical and electronic influences. Winners of the prestigious Danny Kyle Award (Celtic Connections 2024) and Purbeck Rising 2024, they’ve performed at events such as Celtic Connections and the Edinburgh International Harp Festival, pushing musical boundaries with their innovative arrangements and immersive compositions.

Chosen as Stoller Hall Emerging Artists 2025, their unique sound has earned national radio play (BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio Scotland, RTÉ Radio 1) and critical acclaim. Their debut EP Let No Man (April 2024), has been championed by Soweto Kinch and Cerys Matthews, and was named FATEA Magazine’s ‘EP of the Year 2024’.

“A fantastic sound … smashing every stereotype there is” – (Lynette Fay, BBC Radio Ulster)

Taking inspiration from parts of Ireland’s disappearing language, the duo explore humanity’s fascination with the ever-changing temperament of the sea through their music. Having performed across the UK and Ireland, the duo is redefining the role of the harp in contemporary music.
